Who told people they could wear flip-flops to work? This is not approriate work attire. Especially if you have to meet with clients. Hello. I just don't get it.

time is still ticking away

1:54 Still bored. But wandered for a bit. Someone was eating McDonald’s for lunch. Smelt really good considering all I ate was turkey and crackers. Can you really gain too much weigh if your job consist of typing at a computer 70% of the time. I make that other 30% by walking to the fax machine. Back to the desk. Back to the mail room. Back to the desk. Check the pedometer. Not even close to 10,000 steps today. More like 400. Other people are trying to finish the last day of the month crunch. Yeah, not me. All caught up. 1:56 Still bored.

watching the clock tick

It is 1:28 and I have to be here until 6 pm. I don't have any work to do. I can't fake work. I will not assist someone with drudge work that they don't want to do or haven't completed because they are unorganized. Does that make a bad "team player" or am I the superstar who gets to be standoffish since I am done. Tick, tock, tick, tock. Okay, gonna slam this Coke and hope I don't get brain freeze. But at least I will be awake.
